SEAL Program and Academic Excellence Scholarship
An application for the SEAL Program automatically enters you into consideration for the Academic Excellence Scholarship. Please note that not all students who are accepted into the SEAL Program will receive an Academic Excellence Scholarship – this is only available to top applicants as decided by the School. Students who apply for this Program will excel at school and demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies. Evidence for this scholarship includes an extended handwritten sample of English writing. School reports must be submitted.
Citizenship Scholarship
Applicants for the citizenship scholarship will demonstrate a strong commitment to participating in their community. Activities that contribute to the development of citizenship include working in a family business, volunteering, participating in fundraising activities, participating in community groups e.g. leading church youth groups. Evidence for this scholarship includes references, photos, articles/newspaper/newsletter reports, certificates of achievement/participation, etc.
Sports Scholarship
Applicants for the sports scholarship will demonstrate a strong commitment to their sporting endeavours, both inside and outside school. They should be part of sports clubs or groups, and excel in their chosen sport(s). For example, playing with a local football club, or winning taekwondo competitions. Evidence for this scholarship includes references, photos, videos, evidence of medals/trophies, articles/newspaper/newsletter reports, certificates of achievement, etc.
Leadership Scholarship
Applicants for the leadership scholarship will demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of their leadership skills. For example, they will hold leadership positions in school and other activities, such as class, school or sport captains, or as captain of an external sports program or youth group. Evidence for this scholarship includes references, badges, articles/newspaper/newsletter reports, certificates of achievement, etc.
Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
Applicants for the Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship will demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of their visual and/or performing arts skills. For example, they will take external music, dance or drama, classes, participate in school and/or external productions, be part of various performing arts groups e.g. choir, and participate in competitions and performances at different events. Evidence for this scholarship includes audio, video, references from coaches and/or teachers, certificates of achievement or trophies, articles/newspaper/newsletter reports, etc.
