The Musical Appreciation Club, commonly known as MAC, has been around for 50 years. MAC is a highlight in the school calendar and many past students have fond memories of their involvement in the school production, which is generally an annual event.

Students from years 7-12 participate in acting, singing, dancing, lighting, stage construction, backstage, and performing in the band.

The school has a long history of performing both original and Broadway productions. Some of the more recent shows include: Alice@Wonderland, Mulan, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, The Addams Family, and the 2021 production will be an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Tickets coming soon and will be available for purchase at the General Office.

Due to COVID19, we were unable to celebrate 50 years of MAC in 2020 but this will go ahead this year as part of our Arts Expo on Monday 19 July 2021. This milestone will be celebrated with a showcase, both archival and live of past performances. The evening will include, past and present students coming together to celebrate the community of MAC; festive food, music, highlights of shows, and lots of memorabilia.

Tickets are available for MAC50 now. Book online today
