The six students who attended the Gnurad-Gundidj School for Student Leadership (SSL) have returned to St Albans Secondary College for Term 2. Towards the end of the student’s time at Gnurad-Gundidj, Principal Craig Jennings and SSL liaison teacher Angus Adams visited them. During the visit, students displayed their living quarters and the camp facilities, with the day culminating in a presentation of their community-learning project.

The students are committed to working on their community project during Term 2 and Term 3 in preparation for RU OK day on September 12. On RU OK day students will be selling cupcakes and will donate the funds raised from the sale of the cupcakes to the RU OK foundation.

Feedback from the students around their experiences at the camp has been overwhelmingly positive, with the outdoor activities and friendships developed with other camp mates highlights of their time away in Term 1.
