Art Exhibition – NGV Federal Square
Melbourne Now celebrates new and emerging artists and designers. The exhibition is housed in various alternative art spaced around the city of Melbourne.  The NGV federation square was the venue students explored.

VCE Art Making students participated in a range of activities including participating in a communal art making project, examining contemporary themes through interaction within installations and examining the diverse ways that artworks are displayed.

VCE students also attended 45 down stairs, a gallery patronised by Julian Burnside, that assists young artists to become established. They engaged with the curator of the current exhibitions to discuss the differences between Commercial and Not for Profit galleries and careers in the visual arts.
