We enjoyed a week long celebration of all things Art and Technology during our inaugural Arts and Tech Expo from 24 to 27 July.

Students had the opportunity to work with leading artists, performers and writers, signing up to workshops in animation, jazz, illustration, hip hop dance. There were also exciting lunchtime activities on offer including a multimedia screening, fashion show, flash mob performance and drawing club.

The opening Ceremony on Tuesday 25 July featured a student jazz band, a sneak preview of an item from the school production “The Wizard of Oz” and delicious canapes prepared by the VET hospitality students. A group of talented students were presented with generous scholarships supporting them to continue their artistic pursuits. Our special guests included Brimbank Cultural Development Officer, Dr Michael Sheil and local artist Robert Jackson.

Thank you to the Arts and Technology staff and students for organising this event, showcasing the talents of our school community and helping us to see the world from a different perspective.
