This government funded initiative began in 2017 with St Albans Secondary College obtaining funds to start operating the Doctors in Schools Clinic in Term 3, 2018.
The objectives of the program are to:
- make primary health care more accessible to students
- assist your people to identify and address any health problems early
- reduce the pressure on working parents
The clinic GP works in collaboration with the college Wellbeing team to address the medical needs of our student body. The clinic offers a range of services from minor ailments to wellness checks and students can rely on our team to provide professional care.
Our visiting GP is Dr Vivian Ndukwe, who practices out of the Central West Medical Centre in Braybrook.
Students who would like access to the DiS service should see the Wellbeing team to arrange an appointment.
Operating Hours:
- Every Friday from 9:30am to 1:30pm
