Year 9 Advance 2026 Begin Camp Preparations
The Year 9 Advance class of 2026 has officially begun preparing for their first camp experience, while also starting their Bronze Medallion training as part of the program.
Students took part in hands-on practice sessions focused on pitching tents, organising equipment, and working together in small groups. These activities allowed students to build essential outdoor skills while developing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
As students begin their Bronze Medallion, they are also learning the importance of water safety, responsibility, and leadership — key components of both the Advance program and upcoming camp experiences. The practical sessions helped students gain confidence, support one another, and take initiative in unfamiliar situations.
This marks an exciting start to the Year 9 Advance journey in 2026, with students already demonstrating strong collaboration and a willingness to challenge themselves as they prepare for camp and future learning opportunities.
