On 2 July, our 2024 alumnus Deniz Daymen received the VCE Premier’s Award for Economics. Deniz was presented with his certificate by the Honourable Ben Carroll, Deputy Premier and Education Minister at a packed ceremony at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ceremony was addressed by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Gardner, Governor of Victoria and the Honourable Jacinta Allan, Premier of Victoria. Principal Craig Jennings and Economics Teacher Craig Moore were also in attendance.
Deniz is currently studying Science and Engineering at the University of Melbourne. The Craigs are hoping to qualify for honorifics before they retire.
