In Term 3 we welcome back Year 9 students Emily C, Jaydee N and Harry W who attended the Don Valley for Student Leadership (SSL). Towards the end of the student’s time at Don Valley, Principal Craig Jennings visited them on their presentation day. During the visit, students displayed their living quarters and the camp facilities, with the day culminating in a presentation of their community-learning project. The students are committed to working on their community project during Term 3 and hope to get out to local primary schools to run workshops focusing on neuro-diversity.
Feedback from the students around their experiences at the camp has been overwhelmingly positive, with the outdoor activities and friendships developed with other camp mates highlights of their time away in Term 3.
