House Chess Competition
On Wednesday 22 July at lunchtime, students from all year levels came together to take part in our House Chess Competition. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, with so many students getting involved, challenging themselves, and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout the event.
The competition was filled with strategic thinking, friendly competition, and plenty of fun. A huge thank you to our House Leaders, who did an outstanding job organising the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their hard work and leadership helped make the competition a great success.
Congratulations to all students who participated and represented their houses so enthusiastically. The final house results were:
- 1st – Buttrose: 8 students participating, 18 points
- 2nd – Rosewall: 5 students participating, 14 points
- 3rd – Irwin: 5 students participating, 9 points
- 4th – Freeman: 3 students participating, 3 points
Well done to Buttrose for taking out the overall win, and congratulations to every student who participated. We look forward to seeing even more students join in at our next House Chess Competition!
