School Saving Bonus

The School Saving Bonus is a one-off payment of $400 to every Victorian school aged child for the 2025 school year.

To be eligible to receive this payment, the child must be enrolled at a Victorian school and the parent must provide a valid email address.  The department will contact parents via the email provided.

The bonus will not be paid directly to individuals or families.  Instead, families will receive the bonus as credits to their school account.  The credits will be available for use to cover the cost of school uniforms, textbooks and activities.

Please check your inbox and spam folder for any emails from the department.

Families should be contacted by Dec 2024 / Jan 2025.
