Congratulations to all the Junior Sub School students for continuing to put in an excellent effort and being engaged and challenged by their work. It is crucial that this is maintained all the way through to the end of the year. Many teachers will be running significant assessment tasks over the next few weeks and we would like to see that all students reach the peak of their academic potential. This will be reflected in their final Semester Reports and set the students up for a successful 2026.
We would like to acknowledge Andrei Andrino and Dorinna Malopito for the effort that they put into preparing for their speech at the Whole School Assembly. The students were assured and confident in front of a big audience. Andrei and Dorinna wished the Year 12 cohort all the best with their final exams on behalf of the Year 7 students. Whilst Year 12 may seem like a long way off for our Year 7 students, it is amazing how quickly the time flies by and before long it will be our Year 7s sitting on the special chairs, dressed up as frogs and ninjas!
Later in Term 4 the Junior Sub School students will receive additional information regarding safe online behaviour and the new regulatory regime for social media. Recently we have seen some concerning behaviour in this space, so additional guidance would be welcome. We ask that parents also familiarise themselves with the changes that are coming to social media regulations and work with their young people to get the best outcomes.

Our new Year 7 class of 2026 recently paid a visit to St Albans Secondary College for the Big Day In. The students played games and ran through some team building activities, all organised by our Well Being team. There were lots of nervous students in attendance, but this important day is another step on their transition from primary school to secondary school. The behaviour was excellent and so as a sub-school we look forward to welcoming them to our school in January 2026.
