Celebrating Excellence: Mia Costa Awarded Prestigious AMSI Yuille-Umbers Scholarship
St Albans Secondary College is proud to announce that Year 10 (2024) student Mia Costa has been awarded the prestigious AMSI Yuille-Umbers Female High School Scholarship. This scholarship, aimed at supporting and mentoring female students in Victoria undertaking Specialist Mathematics in Years 11 and 12, recognizes Mia’s exceptional dedication and passion for mathematics. As one of only four students statewide to receive this honour, Mia will benefit from financial support, mentorship from leading mathematics experts, and opportunities to participate in AMSI programs and events. We congratulate Mia on this outstanding achievement and look forward to supporting her continued success in her mathematical studies.
