A regular host, Rafael, opened his home to our international students based on his love of Vietnam and his understanding of the loneliness and isolation that moving abroad can bring with it. He aims to support students in their overseas transition and to become a second family. He learned Vietnamese in order to communicate effectively and also cooks some traditional dishes to help the students feel at home. The effort he puts in is rewarded with happy, healthy students who enjoy their international experience.
