Student Literacy Workbook Series
Hayley Harrison, who has worked closely with the College during the last couple of years in regards to supporting the embedding of literacy within the school curriculum, is in works with Matilda Education, an Australian education publishing company, to create a student workbook series on different styles of writing, and what features comprise those text types.
Select students in Years 9 and 10 are very privileged to be working closely with Hayley, whereby they participated in an initial writing workshop to elect to produce several pieces of their own writing across a range of text types. These were further refined in several subsequent smaller working groups.
These pieces, themselves exemplars of writing, will be published in this series of workbooks.
